What is Spina Bifida
Spina Bifida is when the vertebrae in a babys
spine is not formed properly, which allows the
spinal cord to bulge out of the babys spine.
Spina Bifida develops in a fetus, sometimes
before a woman even knows that she is pregnant.
Spina bifida is a comman birth defect. . It
results from the failure of the spine to close
properly during the first month of pregnancy.
