  we cut?

  cake.

How to Make a Fraction!

• First you take the square
• Then you divide it into equal parts
• Color one part Red

• Now take the Red part and make it into a fraction
• Red parts 1
• Total parts 4
• Fraction of Red parts to total parts
• 1/4 red parts/total parts

• 1 red part 4 total parts

  are not eaten. Whats the fraction of uneaten
  pieces?
