Mobile Showroom Tour
Monfort Electronics launched the Mobile
Showroom in May of 2005 in the form of a 14
step-side box truck. While very effective for
product demonstrations, the truck itself wasnt
very comfortable or convenient from a
self-powered standpoint. On December 29th of
2006 we purchased a 30 RV, sold the box truck
and the timely conversion began! While taking
longer than anticipated the result was worth the
wait. The new Mobile Showroom is self sufficient
with a built in generator, and is much more
comfortable with seven built- in movie theater
seats! It hit the road with its first official
demo on April 2nd, 2007! Thanks to our
manufacturers for their donations and support.
We believe the Mobile Showroom has helped Monfort
Electronics take the demonstration and training
process to a new level!

The heart of the system is the 42 Plasma
Display - courtesy of Panasonic Security Systems
Group - and the speaker wall featuring the
Stragey Series from Atlas Sound. This is all
driven by the main component rack, filled with
audio equipment from Ashly, Atlas, Panasonic, RDL
and more. Also hidden behind the scenes are
several control modules from Xantech Commercial
which are an integral part of the touch screen
control system. All systems are networked by a
D-Link Wireless router with a Sprint PCS port for
mobile internet connectivity!

All of the latest I-Pro products from Panasonic
are featured on the Security Wall, along with a
functioning emergency phone system from Talk A
Phone. There are several products functioning
behind the scenes, as well as several of our
remaining products that ride along for show
tell demonstrations.

From a marketing standpoint, the bedroom is
fitted with a literature wall. And of course
to aid in comfort and hospitality, the showroom
is equipped with a heater/air conditioning unit,
a refridgerator, coffee maker, and the movie
theater seats!
