Glaze and Underglaze
  • Im inspired by this piece because of the spatter
design. The colors are vibrant and it catches the
    eye of the viewer.

3
Unexpected Element
  • Im inspired to have something unexpected in a
piece, hand for handles on teapots is funny and
    unexpected.

Slab Surface Detail
  • This piece is inspirational because of the
smoothness of the vase and the detail work.

Pinhole Design
  • I really like how this one has light shining
thought it. The design is really pretty and it
    looks simple.

7
Creative handle
  • I like how the handle is textured and the animal
head, arms and legs and incorporated to add to
    the design.

Vase
  • The inspiration for me is the two holed vase. I
like that the flower is in one of the holes and
you could add more water if needed without taking
    it out.

Heart Teapot
  • I think this design of the heart teapot is a
really well done piece that looks realistic and
    is still functional.

10
Possible to make
  • I like this piece because it looks like it would
be possible for me to make it. I like how smooth
    it is also.

Statement Piece
  • Im inspired by this piece because it makes a
statement. The spout is so big it makes you look
    at it.

Everyday Objects
  • I like how this teapot looks like an everyday
object and the glaze is very smooth and glossy
    that adds to the effect.

My First Raku
  • Im inspired by my first raku piece. I have flaws
on the walls but it makes me want to improve.
  • My photo, Raku field trip, spring 2009

14
Art Club Raku
  • I am also inspired by my fellow art club members
and their creative outlooks. Each piece had
something the other didnt and I thought that was
    great.

15
Teapot handle
  • I like the handle in this teapot because it flows
with the design. I also like the etching in the
    pottery.
