Summary Update The Research Administration Infrastructure Ad Hoc Committee has met for the fifth time. - The fifth meeting of the Ad Hoc Committee was
held Committee time was spent evaluating how to
collect faculty feedback, roles,
responsibilities, policies, procedures, training,
and education for research administration at UGA. - A faculty and staff survey for research
administration is under development. A final
draft and consideration for focus groups will
be completed by 12/12. - A role/responsibility review has been initiated
w/draft by 12/12. - Select policies and procedures supporting
research administration are being collected and
catalogued.

be reviewed by the full Ad Hoc Committee and a
discussion of focus groups will be held. - Existing policies and procedures for high-risk
administration and compliance areas are being
collected these will be identified and
validated as important focus areas through the
matrix and survey work. - Current educational program elements supporting
key compliance and administration functions will
be inventoried and reviewed by Committee
