Description
Problem Balancing the hours
spent for studying for four classes.Hypothesis
I think I spend to many hours studying for math
and statistics and that leads me to get behind in
the other two classes that I have.
  • For four weeks now I have gathered some data
about how many hours I spend studying for each
    class.
  • I also have recorded some data about where I have
    done all my studying at.

Descriptive statistics involving the mean and
standard deviations of the hours of studying vs.
the classes.

Analysis
  • My findings in my project measure exactly up to
my expectation. I do tend to study more for my
    math and statistic classes.
  • I found that the variation of study hours for
math and statistics classes is really excessive.
  • One factor that contributes to the excessive
hours I spend studying for statistics and math
classes is that I tend to focus on the classes I
have the most interest in and the classes I
    struggle the most in.
  • I also found in my findings that I study at home
a lot vs. the library ,car or other places.

12
Conclusion/Summary
  • I believe I should try to study a bit more for my
biology and my political science classes. I also
think its better to study in the library vs. at
home because there is less distractions in the
library. Hopefully because of this project I can
figure a way to distribute more hours for the
classes I spend the least time on.

Quote of the Day!
  • My belief, based on experience, is that 99 of
the students who enter engineering have the brain
power to graduate. Those who fail to graduate
because of non-outside forces (eg. health,
finances, personal problems, etc.) usually do so
because of poor strategy, planning, study habits
    and methods.Stated by professor RosenKrantz.
