How to get started?

• AAMI supplies the application and study guide
• Write to www.AAMI.org, check at FBS website
• Call AAMI at 800.442.1142
• Gather your information
• Work on getting reference letters
• When you get the application, read it carefully
  and look at the reference guides

What steps are needed?

• Fill out application, include all work history,
  education, special classes.
• The application is part of the exam because it
  qualifies you for taking the exam.
• Send in the application with fee even if you are
  not ready for the test. You need at least a six
  week lead time before you are eligible to take
  the test.

What do you need to learn?

• Study like mad!!
• Create a study plan based on your weaknesses
• Work on study group
• Gather reference books and study guides
• Buy the AAMI BMET Study Guide 115/80
• Look for training classes, FBS has BMET review at
  annual meeting FREE!!! With registration.
• AAMI will have BMET Evaluation and Review in June
  08
