Requirements to Enter Kindergarten

• All kindergarten children must
• Be 5 years old by September 30th.
• Have a birth certificate
• Have a physical exam and all required
  immunizations.
• Have the Tennessee Child Health Record completed
  by a physician or the Health Department.

The Kindergarten Classroom
The Kindergarten Curriculum is based on the
Tennessee Comprehensive Curriculum Guide. It is
implemented through a variety of thematic units,
centers and hands on activities. Accommodations
are made to meet the various learning styles of
the individual students.

• Back pack large enough to hold a 12X14 folder
• 2 boxes of Crayola Crayons
• Bath Towel

at the Kindergarten Orientation in August.
