• Christa McAuliffe showed compassion because she
  was always thinking of others.
• Once, her mother wanted to visit some of the
  girls in Christas Girl Scout Troop, so Christa
  organized a Troop Reunion!

• Christa McAuliffe showed perseverance because she
  never gave up her dream.
• One of the people she knew kept telling her that
  she probably would not make it to space, but she
  kept on believing in herself.

• Christa McAuliffe showed determination because
  when she had a goal, she tried her hardest to
  reach it
• She had the goal to be the Teacher in Space, and
  she filled out the application the best she could
  because she knew she could do it

• Christa McAuliffe showed responsibility because
  she never left anything out
• Even though she was always late, she never forgot
  anything

• Christa showed respect because before she did
  anything, she thought of how it would affect
  others
• When she was asked why she thought the
  Teacher-in-Space program was a good idea, she
  answered, It will help others learn about
  space.
