Objectives-1

• At the end of the course, participants will
• Be acquainted with basic concepts of sexual and
  reproductive health and rights
• Have an understanding of health sector reforms,
  and variations in their scope (national, sub
  national, regional) and nature (sectoral, system
  wide) across regions and countries

• Have an understanding of health systems, their
  characteristics and functions
• Have conceptual tools to examine the consequences
  of reforms for the health sector in different
  contexts

• Have knowledge of global trends in health sector
  reforms in financing, public-private interactions
  and decentralisation and be acquainted with the
  Indian scenario.
• Critically analyse the implications of specific
  types of reforms (financing, public-private
  interactions and decentralisation) on sexual and
  reproductive health services
