• Last time we learned that about inductance and
  self-inductance and the fact that the presence of
  inductors in a circuit creates EMFs ( wanted or
  unwanted). Now well get quantitative and discuss
  the current, energy storage, voltage, etc as a
  function of time.

• You have a battery, a resistor and an inductor (
  a coil). What happens in the circuit at the
  moment
• when you connect the battery

• when you disconnect the battery

• Do you know what happens when you turn the knob
  on your radio to select the station ?
• Do activity online 14.2. First set the resistance
• R0 ( this is a LC circuit), then try it with Rgt0
  
• Then we do problem 3 and 4
