FED-PMC 2003 Production

• Request for 20 - 40 ? more FED-PMCs in 2003
• No design changes from previous production Mk3
  cards (minimise time, effort and hence cost)
• Procurement issues
• Xilinx FPGA XC4036XL are being phased out. Last
  time buy! Key component. Have placed order
  already.
• ...other components are probably ok (but lead
  times need verification.)
• Schedule Assuming 6-7 months production.
• If given go ahead now... Aim to complete delivery
  by end of July/August. But could start delivery
  of first batches (of 6) in June.
• Allowing 2 months procurement/PCB manufacture,
  1 month assembly, 2-3 months testing, 1 month
  contingency.
• Depending on quantity...
• Qs to CMS. How many PMCs are required? And on
  what time-scales?
