DRMS Bindings - IDL
--Must work with SolarSoft --Presently being
done with a C shared-object library and CALL
EXTERNAL --We have infrastructure in place for
an IDL binding --IDL can be a powerful language
but programming must proceed knowledgeably to
avoid known runaway job issues --We have
created a basic connect/disconnect routine --We
need to create --Routines to open, close and
get records --Routines to add new
records --Routines to get data to SolarSoft
users in keeping with their protocols --Basic
