Regional Goals and Key Performance Objectives The
following goals represent the key areas of Arts
Mid North Coast involvement in relation to arts
and cultural development in the region. These
goals have been generated as a result of cultural
planning processes and consultations undertaken
across the region on an ongoing basis.   Goal 1
Access  To facilitate access to arts and cultural
development opportunities for all local
communities across the region with a particular
emphasis on disadvantaged/marginalised groups
such as Youth, Indigenous, Women, and
Culturally and Linguistically Diverse communities.

Goal 2 Advocacy  To promote the arts throughout
the region and enhance access to funding for arts
and cultural development through local, regional
state and federal government and non-government
sources.   Goal 3 Infrastructure and
Networks  To assist in the development of
appropriate facilities, infrastructure and
professional networks for arts and cultural
activity.

Goal 4 Planning and Co-ordination To develop
planning processes at a local and regional level
which assist local government and other relevant
groups to undertake a more strategic approach to
community cultural development and the
development of Creative Industries across the
region. To co-ordinate and facilitate partnership
initiatives across the region that result in
meeting planned needs.

Goal 5 Development To support skills development
and professional development in the arts across
the region and to establish links between arts
development, community development and economic
development agendas. Goal 6 Communication,
Marketing and Promotion To maximise the
communities of the Mid North Coast regions
access to relevant information that can assist in
the planning, development, implementation and
resourcing of arts and culturally related
projects and activities.To promote festivals,
events, projects and other arts and culturally
based initiatives across the Mid North Coast
region.

• Involvement in the attraction of nearly 5 million
  dollars to the region over the last three years
• Arts infrastructure development including The
  Manning Entertainment Centre, Manning Regional
  Gallery, PMH Library and Cultural Centre, Bandbox
  Theatre and Gladstone Gallery, Bowraville
  Theatre, Bellingen Memorial Hall, Dorrigo
  Theatre, Urunga Music Stage, Jetty Memorial
  Theatre, Coffs Harbour City Gallery.
