Duties of proposed genetic centre

• Herdbook department, adopting the criteria
  normally followed by ANABORAPI

• Genetic centre responsible for Performance Test
  and consequently young bull selection for
  artificial insemination (AI)

• Technical department to work on the selection
  program, the genetic evaluation of breeders, the
  statistic elaboration of collected data, the
  technical assistance to farmers, the research and
  development activities
• A.I. station for semen production and
  distribution to wherever necessary together with
  various provinces centres
• Press office responsible for the public relation
  through magazine, internet, the updating courses
  for farmers, shows and congresses and maintain a
  strict link to national and international
  organization which work on the Piemontese breed,
  etc.
