Introduction

• We conjugate a verb to know about the action that
  is being done. The form of the verb tells us who
  does the action and when the action is being done.

• The infinitive form of the verb is the basic form
  of the verb, and by itself, doesnt give any
  information about the verb action. It doesnt
  tell us who nor when the action is done.
• Infinitives in Spanish always end in -ar,
  -er, or -ir.

• In simple tenses in English, we switch the to
  part of the infinitive form for a subject (I,
  you, we, the cat) to know who does the action.
• In simple tenses in Spanish, we change the ending
  of the infinitive form (-ar,-er,-ir) for
  different endings to know who does the action.

Conjugating simple tenses WHEN

• In simple tenses in English, we use auxiliary
  verbs in future (will) and conditional (would),
  and we end the verb in ed in past (except for
  irregular verbs) to know when does the action
  happen.
• In simple tenses in Spanish, we change the ending
  of the infinitive form (-ar,-er,-ir) for
  different endings to know when does the action
  happen. The endings combine who and when.

Conjugar tiempos simples QUIÉN

• En los tiempos simples en inglés, cambiamos la
  parte to del infinitivo por un sujeto (I, you,
  we, the cat) para saber quién hace la acción.
• En los tiempos simples en español, cambiamos las
  terminaciones del infinitivo (-ar,-er,-ir) (o
  añadimos a ellas en casos como el futuro y el
  condicional) por diferentes terminaciones para
  saber quién hace la acción.
