• Capacity Building
• Total 86 nos of Trainings Exposure visits
  conducted for different stake holders
• Survey etc
•  HH Survey Baseline survey completed in all
  the villages.
•  Total 30 nos of VDAs formed registered
•  Out of 30 nos of VDLPs 26 nos are completed
•  Total 286 nos of old SHGs are identified in the
  programme villages and 172 nos are newly
  formed by the PIAs.
•  Total 150 nos of Volunteers engaged by the VDAs
  
• Total 30 nos of Community Mobilisers engaged by
  the FNGOs.

Entry Point Activities
Out of total Rs. 1544303 under EPA Rs. 1466001
have been realised to PIAs .

Development Initiative Fund Out of 30 nos of
projects like NTFP Godown Cum Community centre ,
execution of 20 nos of Laxmipur Bandhugaon
Blocks are in progress. No work has been started
in N.Patna Block . 1.Nursery  Total Nurseries
raised - 16 nos.(2005-06) Total Nurseries raised
- 45 nos.(2006-07) Backward Plantation -
Mango, Guava , Litchi , Coconut,
Papaya Forestry Plantation - Teak , Bambo ,
Jafra , Sisoo , Amla etc.

2.Plantation (Forestry)  During 2005-06 11nos
of nurseries have been raised by the VDAs
Forest species like Jaffra , Ambla, Tentuli, Sisu
, Karanja , Cashew etc of 17300 nos seedlings
were raised by the VDAs in their Nurseries
through SHG / UG. 10950 nos of seedlings like
Teak,Bamboo , Jakfruit etc also procured from the
nurseries raised by the F/D. An area of 26.50
Ha. has been covered.

• 3.Plantation (Horticulture)/ Farm Production
  System
•  
• Total 37330 nos of seedlings like papaya ,
  Drumstick , Cashew etc has been raised.
• 17950 seedlings like Mango , Lemon, Coconut etc
  were procured by the VDAs from the Director ,
  Horticulturist , Orissa
•  137 Ha. of area has been covered and some
  seedlings also distributed to the people for
  backyard plantation
• Besides 7 nos of Vermicompost pits and 610 nos of
  compost pits and 1 nos of Azzola pit have been
  completed by the VDAs.

4.Ravi Vegetable Cultivation Rabi Vegetable
Demonstrations like Potato , Tommato, , Brinjal ,
L.Fingers , Chilly , Beans , Dhania, Palak ,
Bittergourd , Yam , Wheat etc taken up in 28
villages covering an area of 10.2 Ha covering
1838 nos of beneficiaries. 5.SWC Measures SWC
measures like construction of Field Bunding,
Contour Trenching/ Bunding , Gully Plugs , Tanks
etc are taken up . Total 336 Ha. of Field
bunding,96 nos of gully plugs, 3 nos Run-off
management structures (RMS) and 2000 Running
meter of Mechanical Filter Strips (MFS) already
done in the programme area .NGO wise given in a
separate Annexure-A

• Vana Sangrakhana Samiti(VSS)
•  
• Total 31 nos of VSS newly formed covering an
  area of 2960 Ha.and 27 nos of existing VSS are
  strengthened for an area of 2750 Ha. of Forest
  land.
•  
• Food Grain Utilisation Up to April 2006
•  
• Total 59.06 MT of Rice and 2.0 MT of Dal
  received till date.
• Total 52.42 Mt of rice utilised and 2.0 MT of
  Dal utilised till April 2006.
• Balance 6.64 MT of Rice .

Convergence  80 nos of mustard mini kits have
been distributed to 80 nos of ST beneficiaries by
Agrl. Dept.  14 nos of 5 HP diesel pump sets are
supplied under TSP scheme with 50 subsidy by
ITDA , Koraput.   13000 nos of Banana suckers
have been planted in an area of 13 Ac. in
Bandhugaon Block 3000 suckers planted in 3 Ac.
Land of N.Patna Block by Horti. Deptt under NRHM
scheme.  20 nos of HC sprayer ( Capacity 16
ltr) are supplied by Agri. Deptt. under 50
subsidy scheme.  50 nos Krusaka Bandhu pumps are
supplied by ITDA , Koraput under 90 subsidy
scheme .

• Total 6000 no of bamboo seedlings procured from
  JK Paper Mills, Rayagada under 100 subsidy.
• 10950 nos of forest seedlings have been
  distributed in Laxmipur N.patna Block by Forest
  Deptt covering an area of 10 Ha.
• 75 nos of CC roads ,D/W F/C etc done by the PR
  Deptt. in our programme area spending approx. Rs.
  2.37 Crores.
