Electronics!
  • Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Telecommunications Technology
  • Industrial Technology

2
drives the economy
Electronics
  • The Binghamton Press has reported often that
local industry cannot find qualified technical
    assistance.
  • Jobs in Electrical, Computer, and
Telecommunications are unfilled locally and at
    the national level.

Start by earning a Certificate
  • Earn a certificate of completion with four
    courses.
  • Earn a SUNY Certificate with 30 Credit Hours.
  • Earn the AAS degree in two to three years of full
    time study.
  • Part time study very popular.

4
A First Course
  • EET 110 Introduction to Electricity
  • Tuesday nights - 5 to 950PM
  • Learn the basics of electricity
  • Use basic electrical instruments
  • Find out whats safe!
  • Learn math as you go on this one.
  • Hands on included.

5
Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Nationally accredited by the Technology
    Accreditation Commission of the Accreditation
Board for Engineering and Technology (TAC/ABET).
  • BCCs technology programs are well established
    and nationally recognized for excellence.

6
Telecommunications Technology
  • Additional courses designed for the
    telecommunications industry.
  • Four courses include Voice, Digital Data,
    Computer Networking, and Advanced Topics.
  • All students learn essential communication skills.

7
Industrial Technology
  • Start with EET 110 Introduction to Electricity.
  • Add CST 106 Intro to Computers, EET 115 Digital
Logic, and MAT 136 Intermediate Algebra and earn
    a Certificate of Completion.
  • Youll have 25 of a
  • College degree!

8
Excellence means rigor
  • These are strong programs using mathematics and
    principles of physics.
  • Preparatory course work may be required but
extensive tutorial and learning assistance is
available to students at no additional cost.
  • The reputation pays off at graduation, youll be
    glad you worked so hard!

9
What will you study?
  • College Algebra and Trigonometry
  • DC - AC Circuits
  • Electronics through Communications
  • Control of Electrical Power using computers.
  • Robotics, computer design, microprocessors, and
    construction practices.

10
AND learn to Communicate
  • Youll learn to write well and express yourself
clearly. Essential skills for your job.
  • 2 English courses, 2 Social Science Electives, 2
    Physics or Chemistry courses.
  • Math training through college algebra and
trigonometry with help from our learning center!

11
Whats in the labs?
  • The electrical laboratories contain state of the
art equipment including Tektronix test equipment,
Pentium computers, and digital emulators, over a
    million dollar investment.
  • The program is enhanced by a 70,000 industrial
robot and study in machine vision and
