WebCT for the students to fill out with their
parents. A new activity will be given every week
for the first month of school. Many are check
lists and fill in sheets to think of what you
want to do with your life. (found in on WebCT)

  • The student or parent(s) will see on off the
WebCT or as many that may need to be assigned to
that student pertaining to their disability.

5
Worksheet that needs to be done.
6

    questionnaires, Ester things.
  • Students will fill out the things along with
their parents and post them back to the WebCT.
  • Parents have filled out and signed off on the
checklists saved with the help of their
    students.
  • Extra credit with class of their chose for
filling it all out in time.

7
Currently distribute, collect and grade the
assignment
  • Sit with the student complete the checklist or
    test.
  • Send a checklist to parent by mail and hope they
    fill it out.
  • At the I.E.P fill out things that should be done
before because the parents student will not get
    together to do.

8
Ink Tablet
  • The Students will be shown how to write on the
    checklist or papers.
  • They will then go home show their parents how
    to use it.
  • Hoping that a connection will form to bring the
tablets as a positive impact in the parents eyes.

9
Assignments
  • WebCT will work for a lot of my students.
  • Other students will have to be downloaded or
    walked through it each time.
  • I will have a sheet that will show what to tap
    how many times for some.

10
Student Engagement
  • Students will be walked through things their
    first few times.
  • My students must do things hands on to learn. I
will have them do things many times on the smart
    board to remember.

11
Evaluating
  • Parents I will be able to talk back forth.
  • Im hoping to write in comments and let the
students see things that may help or can not be
    done.
  • I will then be able to print off their version
    for their final folders.

12
Challenges
  • Some of my students have very short attention
span, others have a lower mental capabilities,
then I will have some that are just behavioral
students. Each case will have their unique
limitations. Some will be able to write on the
tablet while others will only be able to type.
Most will have to be taught how to use the tablet
several times however my students amaze me on a
daily bases of what they are capable of. It will
be a trial and error for us all. I will have to
put my foot down on making sure it comes back
each day. The extra credit may help in their
choice of class. I also hope to see if I can get
their text books on an e-book format so we can
highlight have it read to them using the
    tablet.

Cut down on paper!!
  • I hope this will cut down on paper usage
    mailing.
