MaccourtAll-Purpose Plastic Super Tub Item
19252       Model ST3608
½x ½ compression fitting
Parts Wooden cross, tub, compression fitting,
cinder block, hose, rocks, water, grape Kool-aid
mix or grape juice. 1. Drill a hole through
the side of the tub and put a compression fitting
through the side to make a water tight seal. The
plumbing guys from Lowes can help you get what
you need. You will need a male end sticking out
of the tub to attach the hose to. Make the hole
less than half way up the side of the tub (that
way youll need less water/grape juice). 2. You
will need a piece of clear hose. Place it on
fitting and leave it hanging to direct fluid flow
into vase. Start with 12 hose and see if you
can make it shorter. 3. Place cinder block in
center of tub to use as a stand for the cross.
Wooden wedges or rocks can be used to stabilize
cross. 4. The cross should be made of rough
cut lumber (like cedar or old pallet lumber).
The rougher, the better. Wrap rope around the
cross as shown. It will slow down the juice and
prevent splashing. Cross size approximate 50h
x 42w. 5. Goblets ( or large glass vases) are
available at Garden Ridge Pottery in a variety of
styles and sizes.

Front view. The tub sits on a table or stand and
the goblet sits in front of it. Disguise the
hose with greenery or black fabric so that you
cant see where the juice is coming from. Fill
the tub with rocks for stability and to brace the
cinder block. The more rocks, the less liquid
you need. When the cross and rocks are in place,
fill the tub until the juice begins to run out of
the hose. When it stops dripping, thats the
correct liquid level. All that you pour in will
run out the hose. Now when you pour a whole cup
over the cross, the same amount should flow into
the goblet.
