  population in the U.S. has diabetes
• Diabetes is most prevalent among minority
  populations
• Over time, diabetes can lead to heart and blood
  vessel disease, blindness, kidney failure, and
  foot ulcers, among other conditions.

• More than 50 of all personal bankruptcies today
  are caused by medical bills.
• President-elect Barack Obama your plan and
  Vice-President-elects Joe Bidens plan
  strengthens employerbased coverage and will make
