Work Pace

• Go at your own rate.
• If you have problems, ask your peers
• Then is you cannot work it out, ask your tutor
• It is important you try it first or the tutor's
  answer will mean nothing to you.

• Scheduling - make sure you are not doing two
  things at once
• make sure you can do the work in time
• Re-planning- if not, re-plan your times and order
  of tasks
• Pair Design - If you are working in pairs
  consider the following points.

Pair Work - as done in lectures

• Use we when you discuss the project
• Share work as the driver and observer - switch on
  10 minutes or on each task completion
• Stay focused on the task - respect your team mate
• Do not be negative, give it a go
• Detect defects as you go role of observer
• Do not fight over design - debate differences
• Share the work space and the contributions
• Review any individual work between tutorials it
  has to be understood and agreed to by both
  designers for consistency
• Have regular planned breaks - time them

If working in a pair

• You must change the resources for each design
  task to two people.
• Put the actual times spent on design work into
  each of your individual MS Project Plans. You
  will do your own analysis on this.
• Individually manage the project. This will be
  your own data and analysis. You will do your own
  changes and estimates, and Status Reports.

MS Project Enter actuals in columns. Insert
columns first

Or enter values in Tracking Mode. Select Track
then follow set up steps. Enter values in yellow
task rows

Select Report view and then what you print will
be what is showing on the screen (without the
left hand menu) Also can set up to compare to
baseline on left hand menu

Print your report on PSFile

Select your Pairs and give your names to the tutor
