Business Plan (BBP)

Background
- Nov. 2008 Beijing ICC World Chambers
Federation (WCF) General Council endorses the
proposal to be involved in the new JCI BBP. - ICC
WCF has addressed at its World Chambers Congress
the issue of Youth Migration, which is the
persistent loss of young talents from small
cities to big cities or even countries. - Aligned
to this issue, JCI focuses its new BBP by
delivering a positive change in the local
community.

JCI New BBP

• JCI will encourage its Local Organizations to
  implement the new BBP together with the local
  Chamber of Commerce.
• Focus on business ideas that should develop the
  local business environment.
• Prizes or awards are at the discretion of the
  organizers and the local economic reality.
• There are no plans to hold the new BBP at the
  international level.

Current status

• - New JCI BBP Toolkit is under revision and will
  be ready by November.
• JCI in search of cases of working collaborations
  (new BBP) between JCI Local Organization and
  Chambers of Commerce.
• JCI World Congress in Tunisia
• a) Workshop on how to work with the new JCI BBP
  in conjunction with the Chambers of Commerce.
• b) Showcase winners of the local new JCI BBPs who
  have achieved success.

Global Business Exchange (GBX)

What is GBX?
WCN GBX is a simple-to-use, worldwide electronic
business opportunities database of products and
services. By posting business opportunities
online, members can be networked and do business
with Chamber of Commerce member companies in any
country around the world. This service will be
offered for free to JCI National Organizations.
World Chambers Network (WCN) is operated by ICC
World Chambers Federation and the Paris Chamber
of Commerce and Industry (CCIP).

Current Status
- 1st phase JCI National Organizations to be
randomly selected to use this service with no
cost. 2nd phase all JCI National Organizations
will benefit from this service. - ICC-WCF and
JCI will contact the JCI National Organization to
provide this service. ID and password will be
offered, which will allow the Organization to
deliver this service to its members in good
standing with JCI.
