• young people aged 13 - 30 (different in different
  actions)
• emphasis on young people with fewer opportunities
• youth workers and -organisations
• other actors in the field of youth (work) and
  non-formal education

• Partner countries South East Europe, Eastern
  Europe and Caucasus and Mediterranean Partner

• A 1 - Youth for Europe (Youth Exchanges, Youth
  Initiatives, Youth Democracy Projects)
• A 2 - European Voluntary Service (EVS)
• A 3 - Youth in the world (Partner countries)
• A 4 - Youth support systems (feasibility visits,
  seminars, trainings, )
• A 5 - European cooperation in the youth field
  (youth seminars)

A1.1 - Youth Exchanges

• Facts
• duration 6 - 21 days (travel days included)
• young people aged 13 - 25 (a small number may be
  up to 30 years)
• groups from two oder more countries
• min. 16 and max. 60 young people altogether
• groups balanced in numbers

• e.g. anti-discrimination
• programme and youth relevant working methods
• e.g. workshops (music, theatre, media, ...)
• active participation of young people

Application for funding

• in the country where the project takes place
• for youth exchanges with 2 or 3 countries there
  must be made an application in every country
• for projects with partner countries taking place
  in a partner country, one of the EU partners has
  to submit the application
