Libraries Connect Ohio Funding from the State of
Ohio and a federal grant from the Institute of
Museum and Library Services (IMLS) have allowed
the formation of Libraries Connect Ohio, a
collaborative effort of the State Library of Ohio
and the three statewide library programs serving
school, public, and academic libraries in the
state. A major product of this collaboration has
been the establishment of the Statewide Core
Electronic Information Collection (SCEIC). This
Collection provides every Ohioan with access to
thousands of core information resources from the
time they register for kindergarten through the
remainder of their lives. For further
