  • Our compassion for His world

5
Autism Ministry Proposal
  • 3 Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord
Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the
God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our
troubles, so that we can comfort those in any
trouble with the comfort we ourselves have
received from God. 5 For just as the sufferings
of Christ flow over into our lives, so also
    through Christ our comfort overflows.
  • 2 Corinthians 13-5 (NIV)

6
Autism Ministry Proposal
  • 5 For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus
Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants
for Jesus sake. 6 For God, who said, Let light
shine out of darkness, made his light shine in
our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge
of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
  • 2 Corinthians 45-6

7
Autism Ministry Proposal
  • 34 A new command I give you Love one another.
As I have loved you, so you must love one
another. 35 By this all men will know that you
are my disciples, if you love one another.
  • John 1334-35

8
Autism Ministry Proposal
  • 14 What good is it, my brothers, if a man claims
to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith
save him? 15 Suppose a brother or sister is
without clothes and daily food. 16 If one of you
says to him, Go, I wish you well keep warm and
well fed, but does nothing about his physical
    needs, what good is it?
  • 17 In the same way, faith by itself,
  • if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
  • James 214-17

  • We begin by loving Jesus, and seeing Him clearly

14
Autism Ministry Proposal
  • 13 When Jesus heard what had happened, he
withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place.
Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot
from the towns. 14 When Jesus landed and saw a
large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed
    their sick.
  • 15 As evening approached, the disciples came to
him and said, This is a remote place, and its
already getting late. Send the crowds away, so
they can go to the villages and buy themselves
    some food.
  • 16 Jesus replied, They do not need to go away.
You give them something to eat.

15
Autism Ministry Proposal
  • 17 We have here only five loaves of bread
  • and two fish, they answered.
  • 18 Bring them here to me, he said. 19 And he
directed the people to sit down on the grass.
Taking the five loaves and the two fish and
looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke
the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples,
and the disciples gave them to the people. 20
They all ate and were satisfied, and the
disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken
pieces that were left over. 21 The number of
those who ate was about five thousand men,
    besides women and children.
