• Work with simulated patients to develop
  communication skills, understand each others
  roles and team working
• Engage with local patient and service user groups
  and healthcare professionals to develop realistic
  clinical scenarios
• To offer a range of clinical scenarios breaking
  bad news, diabetes management, post natal
  depression, stroke rehabilitation
• Facilitator development recruitment

• Evaluation
• 91 of students rate the session as excellent or
  very good
• Workshops are successful because they are
  clinically based and realistic
• 90 of students consider the issues raised as
  mostly or entirely relevant to their work
• Working with SPs offers students a powerful and
  effective way of learning
• Students are learning directly with, from and
  about each others roles
