Osage Hills School
Bartlesville, Oklahoma
2
This is our school. We are located at the edge
of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, but we are not a part
of their school system. We are the only school
in our district, but we are awesome! We have 170
students in Pre K 8th grades.
3
This is our Big Toy. It is our favorite thing
to play on at recess.
4
We go to see plays concerts, and special programs
at the Community Center.
5
Do you know what Black Gold is? It it oil!
Conoco/Phillips Company is the largest employer
in our town and they produce oil and its
byproducts such as plastics. They employ around
2,500 people in just Bartlesville.
6
Put the mouse over the horn. Bartlesville has
three fire stations. They have had to come to
our school because of emergencies! Their sirens
sure are loud!
7
There are many grocery stores in Bartlesville,
but United is the closest to our school.
8
Police Station
The police cars are parked in the back. The
policemen take the prisoners to the jail at the
Court House.
9
Since the population of Bartlesville is around
35,000 people, we have a Main Post Office and a
Eastside Branch. The Caney River separates the
two sides of town.
10
This is the Price Tower. It is a famous landmark
designed by Frank Lloyd Wright. The building has
a very unusual shape and design.
11
Part of our students live in the country. Mrs.
Gaevert is our Kindergarten teacher. She lives
at the Osage Hills State Park. This is her house
and guess what she saw in her front yard?
..
12
Yes, Turkeys!!!!!!!
13
These are some of the other type of homes in our
community. Some are very fancy and some are very
simple.
14
The Nellie Johnstone is the first Oil Well that
was drilled in Oklahoma. You can see it in
Johnstone Park.
Woolaroc is a museum where you can find lots of
Native American information.
