Study Design

• 200 overweight men and women randomly assigned to
  24 months of SBT or SBThome
• SBThome
• food provision via internet ordering
• treadmill provision
• decrease in home TV availability
• spouse involvement in treatment
• enhanced stimulus control in home

Study outcomes

• Participants and spouses assessed at 0, 6, 12,
  18, and 24 m home visits at 0, 6, and 24 m
• Weight loss from 0-24 m and maintenance from
  6-24 m
• Physical home environment amount and type of
  food, exercise equipment, TVs in home
• Social home environment social support from
  spouse
• Dietary intake and physical activity
• Marital functioning and depression
• Treatment adherence sessions attended and
  diaries completed
