  • PWG has received 46 RFCs till date

Rules of Order
  • Membership Limited to PTC members. Each member
    will be entitled to one vote however,
    participation in the ReFLEX discussion is limited
    to ReFLEX Service Operators and Licensees.

  • Enhancement Submission A Change Control Board
    consisting of service operators and two elected
    members (representing different entities) will be
    responsible for the review of suggested
    enhancements and the assignment of champions to
    investigate and present enhancements to the
    Protocol Working Group (PWG) for discussion and
    resolution.

Rules of Order
  • Intellectual Property Rights Any IPR associated
    with any technical proposal made in the Group
    should be declared and, if accepted, be offered
    royalty free.

  • Request Acceptance A technical proposal
    requires a CCB membership vote of fifty one
    percent (51) or more for acceptance.
  •  
  • Enhancement Acceptance A technical proposal
    requires a PWG membership vote of seventy five
    percent (75) or more for approval.

Rules of Order
  • Incorporation into the ReFLEX/FLEXsuite
    Specification Motorola will be responsible for
    incorporating any PWG approved technical proposal
    into the Air Interface Standard. A draft copy of
    the specification will be sent to all licensees
    and customer for comments. Upon an acceptable
    review period (not exceeding 90 days) Motorola
    will incorporate any PWG approved changes and
    issue the final release version.

    Appropriate protocol sub-committee will be
    responsible for incorporating any approved
    technical proposal into the specification. A
    draft copy of the specification will be sent to
    all PWG members for comments. Upon an acceptable

  • FLEXsuite - UAR
  • UAR v3.0b released on Dec 05 03
  • Added Transaction ID and Reference ID for
    threading responses (replies and control
    messages) back to the message.
  • Added mutipart field data that allows for a
    single UAR envelope to carry data of multiple
    content types.
  • Added wctpto addressing scheme to support
    communication with WMS using industry standard
    WCTP protocol.
  • Clarified Port field
  • UAR v3.0 scheduled to be released in Apr 04
