  departmental orientation programs
• Acted as a liaison between the department and
  graduate student body for teaching assistant
  appointment policy
• Hosted a special career guidance session for
  graduate students in Fall 2006 and Spring 2007

• VMware (Fall 06 and Spring 07)
• Information session attended by over 40 graduate
  students
• Provided VMware with great recruiting
  opportunities for internship as well as full time
  positions
• Faculty members hosted a seminar session about
  job opportunities in academia
• ASCIE social in Nov 06 (potluck contest)
