GalProp
Motivation - minuit minimization to the
existing experimental data p,pb,e,ep,
he,B/c,He3/He4,Be19/Be9,gamma etc which
require merging of simulation and analysis parts
and optimization of memory allocations. -
introduce detector elements (acceptance,
contaminations) for discovery plots. - improve
maintenance and developments(heliosphere prop.)
Restructure the code, add functionality Code
is written! Debugging-testing stage now. New
subpackages structure and readiness

Antiprotons.
Problem Taking the DM halo complaint with the
EGRET data causes factor 8 too much antiprotons
as compare with BESS data. Most of
antiprotons are coming from the solar (2 kpc)
vicinity.
Tried solutions - anisotropic propagation D(r),
Vconvection(r,z) - relax a bit on angular fit to
EGRET data and modify DM halo. - reduce the
EGRET gamma excess by modifying the GalProp
model.
Possible - heliosphere acceptance, p and pb
propagation may help - cross sections? - some
compromise solution smaller EGRET excess by
modified GalProp model, propagation, optimized
DM halo, etc.
