Routine Care

• You can prevent problems, wrinkles, stains, and
  shrinking by taking routine, regular care of your
  clothes
• Open and close buttons, snaps, zippers
• Take your shoes off before getting in and out of
  pants and shorts
• Check for and Remove stains as soon as you can
• Put dirty clothes in a laundry basket away from
  clean clothes
• Hang up or fold clean clothes

Drying Clothes

• Air dried or in a Dryer
• Usually those that can be washed together can be
  dried together however, this is not always the
  case.
• Always shake out laundered clothes before drying
• Larger loads save energy, do not overload
• Over-drying clothes can cause shrinkage
• Clean the air filter

Pressing and Ironing

• Pressing The process of lifting and lowering an
  iron onto the clothes.
• Ironing The process of moving the iron back and
  forth over the fabric.
• Knits and wool should be pressed to avoid
  stretching
• Most woven fabrics should be ironed.
