2Grape growing is one of our states fastest
growing agricultural enterprises.
3Grapes grow in Vineyards. Grapes grow two years
before the first grapes are ready to harvest.
4Oklahoma grapes are grown for eating fresh.
5Oklahoma grapes are also grown to make wine.
6Grapes can even be made into juice or raisins.
Raisins are dried grapes.
7As the grapes develop, they grow in bunches on
woody vines.
8they are supported on stakes or trellises to keep
the heavy bunches of fruit off of the ground.
9The trellises also make harvesting the grapes
easier.
10These grapes are watered using a drip irrigation
system.
11Grapes are rich in antioxidants, which help
prevent some diseases.
12Grapes are full of Vitamin K and Vitamin C. They
also have fiber, iron and calcium.
13only three fruits are native to North America
Concord grapes, blueberries cranberries.
