Why Do We Need Supply Chain Metrics?
  • What gets measured gets done!
  • To identify and focus on those areas that are key
to the success of the horizontal Supply Chain
  • To measure and continuously improve the Supply
    Chain from source to consumption

Key Lessons Learned
  • In God we trust, all others bring data!
  • Metrics should be standardized and clearly
    defined.
  • Measurement drives continuous improvement from
source to consumption a horizontal approach
    across the Supply Chain.
  • Establish goals for each measure, and share the
    results openly.
  • Collaborative Scorecarding should include all
participants in the Supply Chain, and allow for
    open feedback between partners.
  • We need to make the data easier to accumulate and
    share.
  • What gets measured gets done!
