What does the Cross of Jesus mean to you?

The Cross of Christ is 1. The Measure of Mans
Guilt. Acts 313-152. The Manifestation of
Gods Love. Romans
56-83. The Means of Salvation. John
314-154. The Mark of Separation.
Galatians 614b5. The Motive for Service. 2
Corinthians 514-156. The Melody of Heaven.
Revelation 58-10

1. The Measure of Mans Guilt. The
God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our
fathers, has glorified His servant Jesus. You
handed Him over to be killed, and you disowned
Him before Pilate, though he had decided to let
Him go. You disowned the Holy and Righteous One
and asked that a murderer be released to you. You
killed the Author of life, but God raised Him
from the dead. We are witnesses of this.
Acts 313-15

2. The Manifestation of Gods Love. You see, at
just the right time, when we were still
powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very
rarely will anyone die for a righteous man,
though for a good man someone might possibly dare
to die. But God demonstrates His own love for us
in this while we were yet sinners, Christ died
for us. Romans 56-8

3. The Means of Salvation.Just as Moses
lifted up the serpent in the desert, so the Son
of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who
believes in Him may have eternal life.
John 314-15

4. The Mark of Separation.May I never boast
except in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ,
through which the world has been crucified to me,
and I to the world. Galatians 614b

5. The Motive for
Service. For Christs love compels us, because
we are convinced that one died for all, and
therefore all died. And He died for all, that
those who live should no longer live for
themselves but for Him who died for them and was
raised again. 2 Corinthians 514-15

6. The Melody of
Heaven. Then one of the elders said to me, Do
not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to
open the scroll and its seven seals. Then I saw
a Lamb, looking as if it had been slain, standing
in the centre of the Throne, encircled by the
four living creatures, and the elders. He had
seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven
spirits of God sent out into all the earth. He
came and took the scroll from the right hand of
Him who sat on the Throne. And when He had taken
it, the four living creatures , and the twenty
four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one
had a harp, and they were holding golden bowls of
incense, which are the prayers of the saints. And
they sang a new songYou are worthy to take the
scroll and open its seals, because You were
slain, and with Your Blood You purchased men for
God, from every tribe and language and people and
nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and
priests to serve our God, and they will reign on
the earth. Revelation 58-10
