Armour

Body Armour
Vikings used an armour called the chain mail.
Chain mail were hot and heavy. They were made of
circles of mental linked though four neighbour
loops. If a Viking was lucky, they might own a
brine and might skip wearing it.
4
Limb Armour Limb Armour were for protection of
the arms and legs, when these are armoured they
used the splint armour. This consisted of long
narrow rectangles of iron/steel, horn or wood.
This splints were usually reverted to leather
straps or possible they may have been attached to
the mail
5
Helmets The Vikings did not wear helmets with
horns or wings. They wore vended helmets with a
rounded top, often made made of overlapping
triangular plates. They included cheek flaps and
nasal protection and also many feature plates
covering the back of the neck or sometimes the
whole head. There was also a ocular metal guard
that protected the eyes and the cheekbone.

Weapons
7
Spears The spear was the Viking's best weapon
because it has the least amount of metal. There
were a lot of different styles of spears like the
leaf shaped blade from 3 to 18 inches in length
and some had wings or lugs. Slashing spear and
hooking were also different types of spears. They
were about 6 feet of metal bound shaft and a
double edge blade
8
Long knives Long knives were also another
weaponry. This was as much as a survival tool for
everyday living as a weapon.
9
Axes The Vikings also used axes for weapons.
Most axe heads were forged out of two pieces of
different grade metals a high quality steel for
the cutting edge, wielded to a less higher
quality of softer iron or steel head
10
Swords The swords were made up of five parts
first they made a blade of pattern-weided steel,
second they put the blade to the cross piece or a
guard, next a flat grip which tapered away from
the blade, followed by a second cross piece or
upper hilt, and finally a triangular, semicircle
or a multiplied pommel which was a weight to
balance the sword.
