Overview

• December 11-20 during lunch
• Regular blank ornaments will be sold for 1
• Also, card stock rounds of approximately 7 in
  will be sold for 50 or 75 cents
• They get to choose where to hang it.
• Hence, all of there tagging urges and need to
  claim everything by writing their name on it will
  be redirected in a positive way

Objective

• We will need to obtain a 9 to 12 foot Christmas
  tree
• Mrs. Eshillian let us use a school cart to put
  the tree on so that during the night we can lock
  it in the cardinal patio this way there is a
  minimal risk for vandalism
• During lunch students will buy an ornament,
  decorate and place it wherever they like on the
  tree

How will we cover the costs?

• Lets say that there are around 80 senators
  participating. If we each donate 5 then we have
  a total of 400. This money would go toward the
  cost of the tree and ornaments
• This would be the ideal strategy because we
  wouldnt lose any money. All the money that we
  make would be our net profit.

Cost Analysis

• If we hypothetically have 500 customers then
  whatever we make is our profit.
• However if we use money from our club treasury
  then we would need to cover original cost and
  only then would we be able to calculate our profit

Additional possibilities

• This could actually be made into an event
• At Knotts and Disneyland they make a big deal
  out of lighting the Christmas tree. We could
  also pull that off. After school (but before the
  school is over) we could possibly host one of
  those.
• However we wouldnt be alone. It could be like a
  mini carnival thing.

Lighting the Cardinal Christmas Tree

• For this event we could actually help clubs with
  their own fundraisers, and as use that for our
  advantage.
• This could take place after school around 5pm in
  the quad
• The other clubs could set up their own booths
  (like at club rush) and sell their fundraiser
  items as could we.
• Around 6pm we would light the tree. This would
  most likely consist of a couple of words from
  Mrs. Bean and then we could choose someone to
  place the star on the Christmas (possibly Mr.
  Davies or we could even have a raffle for that)
  and then drum roll please we would light the
  tree.

• Another thing that we can do to get the tree at a
  very low price is to send letters to stores and
  ask if they can discount or maybe even give us a
  tree
• Any other ideas???
