1 Corinthians 1558
58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast,
immovable, always abounding in the work of the
Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in
the Lord.
4
Matthew 1927-29 27Then Peter answered and
said to Him, See, we have left all and followed
You. Therefore what shall we have? 28So Jesus
said to them, Assuredly I say to you, that in
the regeneration, when the Son of Man sits on the
throne of His glory, you who have followed Me
will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the
twelve tribes of Israel. 29And everyone who has
left houses or brothers or sisters or father or
mother or wife or children or lands, for My
names sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and
inherit eternal life.

Matthew 201,2, 8-15 1For the kingdom of heaven
is like a landowner who went out early in the
morning to hire laborers for his vineyard. 2Now
when he had agreed with the laborers for a
denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.
8So when evening had come, the owner of the
vineyard said to his steward, Call the laborers
and give them their wages, beginning with the
last to the first. 9And when those came who
were hired about the eleventh hour, they each
received a denarius.
6
10But when the first came, they supposed that
they would receive more and they likewise
received each a denarius. 11And when they had
received it, they complained against the
landowner, 12saying, These last men have worked
only one hour, and you made them equal to us who
have borne the burden and the heat of the day.
13But he answered one of them and said, Friend,
I am doing you no wrong. Did you not agree with
me for a denarius? 14Take what is yours and go
your way. I wish to give to this last man the
same as to you. 15Is it not lawful for me to do
what I wish with my own things? Or is your eye
evil because I am good?

Be Steadfast!
Unwavering, persistent, Committed, dedicated,
firm.
2 Timothy 112 For this reason I also suffer
these things nevertheless I am not ashamed, for
I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that
He is able to keep what I have committed to Him
until that Day.
Philippians 413 I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me.
8
Romans 831,37-39 31What then shall we say to
these things? If God is for us, who can be
against us?... 37Yet in all these things we are
more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38For I am persuaded that neither death nor life,
nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor
things present nor things to come, 39nor height
nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be
able to separate us from the love of God which is
in Christ Jesus our Lord.
1 Timothy 112 12And I thank Christ Jesus our
Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me
faithful, putting me into the ministry.
9
Be Immovable!
Immovable is the idea of something or somebody
that cannot be moved, somebody that is not easily
taken away by different ideas.
Be solid in your beliefs
10
Ephesians 412-14 12for the equipping of the
saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying
of the body of Christ, 13till we all come to the
unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the
Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of
the stature of the fullness of Christ 14that we
should no longer be children, tossed to and fro
and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by
the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of
deceitful plotting,
1 Timothy 46 6If you instruct the brethren in
these things, you will be a good minister of
Jesus Christ, nourished in the words of faith and
of the good doctrine which you have carefully
followed.
11
1 Timothy 416 16Take heed to yourself and to
the doctrine. Continue in them, for in doing this
you will save both yourself and those who hear
you.
2 Peter 317 17These are wells without water,
clouds carried by a tempest, for whom is reserved
the blackness of darkness forever.
12
Jude 3,4 3Beloved, while I was very diligent to
write to you concerning our common salvation, I
found it necessary to write to you exhorting you
to contend earnestly for the faith which was once
for all delivered to the saints. 4For certain men
have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked
out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn
the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the
only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jude 12,13 12These are spots in your love
feasts, while they feast with you without fear,
serving only themselves. They are clouds without
water, carried about by the winds late autumn
trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the
roots 13raging waves of the sea, foaming up
their own shame wandering stars for whom is
reserved the blackness of darkness forever.
13
Are you ABOUNDING in the work?
They abound!
Galatians 610 10 Therefore, as we have
opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to
those who are of the household of faith.
14
Hebrews 1316 16But do not forget to do good
and to share, for with such sacrifices God is
well pleased.
James 417 17Therefore, to him who knows to do
good and does not do it, to him it is sin.
Is Paul talking about this type of work?
15
Galatians 610 10Therefore, as we have
opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to
those who are of the household of faith.
As we have opportunity
Are you abounding in the work?
16
Galatians 69 9And let us not grow weary while
doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we
do not lose heart.
Remember the People in Malachis days?
17
Malachi 314 You have said, It is useless to
serve God What profit is it that we have kept
His ordinance, And that we have walked as
mourners Before the Lord of hosts?
18
Knowing that your labor is not in vain in the
Lord
Job 1925 For I know that my Redeemer lives, And
He shall stand at last on the earth
Psalm 1355 For I know that the Lord is great,
And our Lord is above all gods.
2 Timothy 111 12For this reason I also suffer
these things nevertheless I am not ashamed, for
I know whom I have believed and am persuaded that
He is able to keep what I have committed to Him
until that Day.
19
Many Christians give up when they dont receive
their reward right away for doing a good work!
Colossians 324,25 24knowing that from the Lord
you will receive the reward of the inheritance
for you serve the Lord Christ. 25But he who does
wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and
there is no partiality.
Ephesians 68 8knowing that whatever good anyone
does, he will receive the same from the Lord,
whether he is a slave or free.
