2-dimensional MHD simulation of magnetic
reconnection between the emerging flux and
coronal magnetic field based on the similar model
as Yokoyama and Shibata (1995, Nature). Thick
lines and color contour indicate magnetic field
lines and density distribution, respectively.
There are 200110 grid points inside each figure.
Top Initial stage of magnetic reconnection. Some
plasmoids are created by tearing instability.
Bottom Surge like structures as many as
plasmoids. When plasmoids are ejected out from
reconnection region, surge like structures
appear.

Initial condition of 3-dimensinal case Thick
lines indicate magnetic field lines and gray
scale color contour is magnetglam at the
photosphere. There are twisted magnetic flux tube
(red) under photosphere and magnetic bipolar
field (blue) over photosphere. Magnetic flux tube
emerges at center of region.
Test for magnetic reconnection by CIP scheme
Line and color contour indicate magnetic field
line and temperature distribution, respectively.
We reproduced the spontaneous fast reconnection
model by Ugai et al (1999). Our results are well
similar with the results of them by Lax-Wendroff
scheme. According to the method of them, we
measured the numerical reconnection. Then we
found that the numerical reconnection is zero by
CIP scheme.
