• In Roman culture she is called Ceres
• She is an Olympian god
• She has a daughter!!! Who is. Persephone!!!
• Amy can tell you more about Persephone!!!
• She was the god of grain and Fertility!!!

• Demeter was the goddess of harvest, so she
  controlled the peoples harvest. She was thought
  to be the most generous god or goddess. She
  sometimes mettled in human affairs that were to
  her liking. She was very protected of her
  daughter.

  Greece.

• Her Sacred animal is the Pig

• Guess what!!! Demeter was the goddess of grain
  and agriculture or fertility but she was closely
  related to human fertility!!!

• In one myth Hates stole Demeter's daughter and
  married her. Demeter was very sad and made
  winter.
