TSP Interfund Transfers and Allocations

• TSP accounts are accessed from www.TSP.gov
• Allocations and Interfund transfers are accessed
  from the Account Transactions link on the right.

Login

• Read and acknowledge all the security info.
• Please make sure you are doing this from a secure
  location. Run spyware removal software to make
  sure your PC is clean. Heres the link for the
  free Adaware product.
• Login with your SS and Pin.

Interfund Transfer

• Select Interfund Transfer from the Main Menu
• It will show your current allocation. This will
  change around as your different funds over or
  underperform each other.
• If you wish to change itpush the button for
  Request Interfund Transfer

• Now comes the tricky part you have to put in 5
  whole numbers that add up to 100. sarcasm )
• When you put in the appropriate percentages and
  click submit they give you two confirmation
  screens.
• Now you are in charge.
• No cost and no tax implications.

Transfer Execution

• Transfer by Noon Eastern and itll shift that
  day.
• Afternoon Eastern puts the trade into the next
  day.

TSP Contributions

• Contributions drop from your paycheck to your TSP
  account into the funds you have selected in
  Contribution Allocation from the Main Menu.
• I opt to have it always drop into the G fund.
  These funds will get picked up and allocated when
  the time is right in the next trade.
• It also keeps me from having to change 2 things.
  Were lazy.
