Learning Resources on campus

  • The LRC is located in the heart of the Campus,

How to access the computers - username
  • Your IT User ID is printed on the back of your
    student card. It is usually your initials
    followed by 3 or more digits.
  • Write down your IT user ID now

  • The first time you login, your password is set
    to
  • Mdx Student Number Date of Birth
  • For example, if your Student Number M00123456
    and your Date of Birth 27/06/89Then your
    password is MdxM00123456270689
  • Write down your password now

  • You will be forced to change your password the
    first time you login, so think of a new one now.
  • It MUST be at least 8 characters long and
    includeAt least 1 letter in UPPERCASEAt least
    1 letter in lowercaseAt least 1 number
  • For example Sunsh1ne or Monday63
  • Pick something you are going to easily remember.
  • Think of your new password now

  • Write down your email login now.

  • The first time you login your password is
  • Student Number mmm (the first 3 letters of the
    month you were born in lowercase)
  • For example, Student Number M00123456 Date of
    Birth 27/06/89 Password M00123456junStudent
    numberfirst 3 letters of month of birth
  • If your student number does not start with M, add
    it in.
  • Write down your email password now.
