  • Convoy and/or Checkpoint Personnel
  • Upon Recognizing the Target Engaged are Friendly
    Forces, Cease Fire and
  • Report the Following on Next Higher Unit Net
  • - The ID of the Engaged Friendly Force (if
    unsure, report number and type vehicles),
  • - The Location of the Incident,
  • - The Direction and Distance to the Engaged
    Force
  • - The Type of Fire and the Target Effects.

  • Seek Cover for Protection, then
  • Use a visual Recognition Signal Directing the
    Firing Unit to Cease Fire
  • Report the Following on Next Higher Unit Net
  • - The ID of the Engaged Friendly Force (if
    unsure, report number and type vehicles),
  • - The Location of the Incident,
  • - The Direction and Distance to the Engaged
    Forces
  • - The Type of Fire and the Target Effects.
  • Provide Assistance as Needed.
