Agrimar Pine Disinfectant
Agrimar Pine Disinfectant is an effective
germicide formulated from chlorinated phenols
with aromatic oils and suitable saponifying
agents. Agrimar Pine Disinfectant is a bright
amber fluid which dilutes readily with water to
produce a characteristic milky solution, which is
an excellent disinfectant and cleanser. Agrimar
Pine Disinfectant, when diluted ready for use, is
non-toxic, non-staining and non-corrosive. It is
therefore widely used in industry and public
buildings as a general disinfectant and as
Agrimar Pine Disinfectant is non poisonous it is
particularly suitable for use in the food
industry. Agrimar Pine Disinfectant has a rideal
walker co-efficient of 3-5. Agrimar Pine
Disinfectant satisfies the requirements of
BS51971976. DIRECTIONS FOR USE Solutions should
be freshly and accurately prepared in clean
containers. DILUTE 1 Part Disinfectant with 59
Parts of Clean Water. ROUTINE DISINFECTION 1
Tablespoon to 3 Pints of Water. FLUSHING Sinks,
Drains, Gulleys. WASHING Floors, Walls and
Painted Surfaces SOAKING Soiled Linen,
Handkerchiefs. Heavily soiled articles should be
rinsed clean before disinfection. SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS Keep out of reach of children. If
swallowed seek medical advice immediately and
show container or label. Avoid contact with

Agrimar Active Detergent Sterilizer BACTERICIDAL
DETERGENT
Agrimar Active Detergent Sterilizer is effective
against a wide range of gram negative and gram
positive organisms, including Salmonella
typhi. KILLING DILUTIONS Dilutions giving 100
Kill in 5 minutes at 22ºC E. Coli. (8196) 1-1000
Staph. Aureus (3750) 1-1250 Salmonella
Typhi (3390) 1-650 Pseudomonas

Vulgaris (4175) 1-1000 DILUTIONS Agrimar Active
Detergent Sterilizer is a bactericidal detergent
which is eminently suitable for use in the
agricultural, catering, general food and soft
drinks industries and where the disinfectation of
surfaces is necessary in the interests of
cleanliness and hygiene. It is odourless,
non-toxic and non-staining at use dilutions and
will not affect commonly used metals, vitreous
glazes and plastics. It is stable under acid or
alkaline conditions and is effective in hot or
cold, soft or hard water, although softened hot
water is to be preferred. Agrimar Active
Detergent Sterilizer contains an active
ingredient which gives optimum bactericidal
efficiency together with a detergent system that
will remove a wide variety of surface debris and
soil such as protein and fats. In common with
all detergents, some care should be take with
continous use, as in certain cases some drying
and reddening of the hands may occur and the use
of protective gloves or creams is
recommended. Agrimar Active Detergent Sterilizer
is easy and economical in use and disperses
immediately in water. It is pleasantly perfumed
and does not form scum. It is stable under
normal conditions of storage. It has advantages
over chlorine based bactericides in so far as
these products can impart an undesirable taste to
foods and drink, leaves a distinct odour, has
harmful effect on metals, especially aluminium
and tend to lose their efficiency, especially in
the presence of organic contamination. Agrimar
Active Detergent Sterilizer is a dual-purpose
product, combining cleaning and disinfection in a
single operation, it can conveniently be used
between work-shifts or at other times, when
working surfaces, conveyor belts, utensils,
knives and equipment etc have their routine
clean. Water, preferably warm containing not
less than 0.5 fluid oz of Agrimar Active
Detergent Sterilizer per gallon, should be
liberally applied and scrubbed onto all surfaces
and parts to remove adherent matter, taking
particular care with dried fats and grease and
ensuring that under-surfaces should be
pressure-hosed down or otherwise rinsed
thoroughly with clean water. This may be delayed
until as near as possible to re-use of the
equipment to benefit from the continuing action
of the bactericide. DIRECTIONS FOR USE TERMINAL
FARM HYGIENE Use 1 part Agrimar Active
Detergent Sterilizer to 320 parts if Water as
pre-wash to clean and sanitize farm buildings
before disinfection. FARM EQUIPMENT Use 1 part
Agrimar Active Detergent Sterilizer to 320 parts
of water to clean and sanitize drinkers, feeders,
cages, trays, crates, farm equipment and
vehicles. HATCHERIES Use 1 part Agrimar Active
Detergent Sterlizer to 320 parts of water to
clean and sanitize walls, setters, hatcheries,
trolleys, etc. RINSE WITH CLEAN WATER AFTER
USE SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Not to be consumed. Do

Agrimar High Power Disinfectant
Agrimar High Power Disinfectant is a heavy duty
bactericidal disinfectant which is suitable for
use in the agricultural and food industries and
where the disinfection of surfaces is necessary
in the interests of cleanliness and hygiene. It

dilutions and will not affect commonly used
metals, vitreous glazes and plastics. It is
stable under acid or alkaline conditions and it

Agrimar White Disinfectant is a white
disinfectant which has been approved by the UK
Ministry of Agriculture for use under diseases of
animals (approved disinfectants) order, at the
following dilutions of water Against Anthrax,
Brucellosis, Contagious Pleuro-Pneumonia and
Glanders 1-100 Against Tuberculosis 1-90 Aga
inst Fowl Pest 1-30 Modified Kelsey-Sykes
Capacity test (1974) under dirty conditions -
pass 1. UK department of Health and Security
approval against small pox at 1 in 40. Agrimar
White Disinfectant is a broad spectrum
disinfectant, capable of destroying bacteria,
fungi, yeasts, protozoa and some viruses. Agrimar
White Disinfectant retains its activity in the
presence of serum, blood, faeces, urine and other
organic contamination and also it is fully
miscible with hard, soft or salt water when its
activity is still maintained. Agrimar White
Disinfectant is formulated as a concentrated
emulsion of high boiling tar acids with selected
tar oils. Agrimar White Disinfectant is active
against gram positive, gram negative and acid
fast bacteria, including tuberculosis. DIRECTIONS
FOR USE INFECTIOUS DISEASES In the presence of
infectious diseases, dilute 1 to 100 in clean
water. GENERAL DISINFECTION For general
disinfection dilute 1 to 400 in clean water.
Stir well before use. Protect from frost.
Dilutions should be freshly and accurately
prepared in clean containers. To avoid the risk
of Chlorophenol Taint in Milk, this product
should not be used or stored in or near to Dairy
Cow Housing and Milking premises, Farm Dairies or
where Milk or Milk products are handled or

Agrimar Black Fluid Disinfectant

Agrimar Black Fluid Disinfectant is an excellent
disinfectant for general use, especially animal
health, industrial, municipal, hospital and
domestic. Agrimar Black Fluid Disinfectant is
especially used for sinks, gulleys, drains and
similar environmental purposes. It mixes readily
with water to produce a characteristic emulsion
and in the concentrated form can be stored
without deterioration and remain stable under
frost or tropical conditions. Agrimar Black Fluid
Disinfectant is formulated from selected tar
oils, acids and soaps and great care is taken to
ensure a good quality product. The phenol content
is 7/12 v/v. The dilution is the traditional
white to off-white emulsion. DIRECTIONS FOR
USE GENERAL DISINFECTION For general
disinfection of livestock and farm buildings use
1 part of Agrimar Black Fluid Disinfectant to 100
parts of water. WHEEL AND FOOT DIPS Use 1 part
of Agrimar Black Fluid Disinfectant to 100 parts
of water. LAVATORIES, DRAINS, SINKS AND GULLEYS
Use 1 part Agrimar Black Fluid Disinfectant to
100 parts water. To avoid the risk of

Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant
? UK MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE APPROVED
Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant is a high quality
multi-purpose Iodophor which is approved by the
Minsitry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the
Secretary of State for Scotland and Secretary for
Wales as a disinfectant for the purposes of the
Animal Health Act 1981 and in respect of Foot and
Mouth Disease, Swine Vesicular Disease, Diseases
of Poultry and Tuberculosis. Iodophors have
been used for disinfection for many years and are
unique in their broad spectrum of activity
against disease causing organisms. The iodine
colour also gives an indication of the activity
of the disinfectant. Agrimar Iodophor
Disinfectant is very concentrated and has high
rates of dilution for Foot and Mouth disease,
Fowl Pest, Tuberculosis and general
orders. DIRECTIONS FOR USE To ensure maximum
effectiveness it is important, after removal of
all livestock, to clean surfaces as much as
possible before application. All litter and muck
should be cleaned out and the area swept. It
should be cleaned preferably with a power hose or
portable pressure washer. Agrimar Iodophor
Disinfectant should then be applied at the
recommended rate by using a pressure washer or
manually to make certain the whole surfaces are
treated and that the disinfectant soaks into
cracks and crevices. Agrimar Iodophor
Disinfectant can also be used for foot and wheel
dips and solutions should be changed once the
colour fades to a pale yellow. This preparation
combines cleaning and disinfection and may be
used as a general cleaner for Buckets, Cages,
Drinkers, Hatchery Trays, etc. Agrimar Iodophor
Disinfectant can be used through a mist
generator. GENERAL DISINFECTION Use 1 part to
400 part of water (25ml to 10 Litres / 1 floz to
2.5 gallon). FOR USE AGAINS AUJESKYS DISEASE
RABIES Use 1 part to 125 parts of water. FOOT
AND MOUTH DISEASE ORDERS Use of 1 part of
Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant to 250 parts of
water. SWINE VESICULAR DISEASE Use 1 part
Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant to 300 parts of
water. DISEASES OF POULTRY ORDER Use 1 part
Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant to 125 parts of
water. TUBERCULOSIS ORDERS Use 1 part of
Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant to 30 parts of
water. GENERAL ORDERS MADE UNDER THE ANIMAL
HEALTH ACT 1981 In the order proportion of 1
part Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant to 180 parts
of water. Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant contains
Sulphuric Acid (9.3 w/w) Phosphoric Acid (9.5
w/w) and minimum 2.75 Available Iodine at time
of manufacture. Do not use at temperatures in
excess of 43ºC (110ºF). SAFETY

Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant 1.8 W/W
Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant 1.8 W/W is a broad
spectrum disinfectant. This preparation kills
bacteria, fungi and viruses which cause major
diseases in livestock and domestic pets. Agrimar
Iodophor Disinfectant 1.8 W/W cleans and
disinfects in one operation and is specially
formulated to clean and disinfect equipment, i.e
Buckets, Crates, Drinkers, Hatcheries, Benches,
Working Utensils. Agrimar Iodophor Disinfectant
1.8 W/W may be used for aerial disinfection
(rinse atomizer after use). Active solutions are
amber to yellow in colour. Prepare fresh solution
when colour fades to pale yellow. Dilute with
water not exceeding 43ºC. Rinse all equipment
with clean, cold water. DIRECTIONS FOR
USE GENERAL DISINFECTATION Use 1 part
preparation to 100 parts water (i.e. 20ml to
5 Litres of water). DISINFECTION OF HEAVY
SOILED SURFACES FOR USE IN FOOT TRAYS Use 1
part to 100 parts water (i.e. 50ml to 5 Litres of
water) DRINKING WATER STERILIZATION 1 part to
1,500 parts water (i.e. 4ml to 6 Litres of
water). SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Contains Sulphuric

Agrimar RTU Iodine Teat Dip and Teat Spray is an
iodophor-based teat dip and teat spray which has
been specially formulated to help reduce the
bacterial contamination that causes mastitis in
dairy herds. Reduces the risk of infection by
leaving an antiseptic film of iodine adhering to
teats which have been treated by dipping or
spraying. Contains 5 Glycerine and Sorbitol to
help keep teats soft and supple and to aid in the
prevention of healing of sores and
cracks. Agrimar RTU Iodine Teat Dip and Teat
Spray is ready to use and so is especially
suitable for situations where measurement and
mixing are likely to prove inconvenient. No
dilution required. DIRECTIONS FOR USE TEAT
DIPPING Fill teat cup about two thirds full
with Agrimar RTU. Dip teats of every cow
immediately after each has been milked, making
sure that the full length of the teat is
immersed. Top up with fresh solution as
required. Empty and wash out cups after
milking. TEAT SPRAYING Immediately after
milking, spray the entire surface of each teat of
every cow with Agrimar RTU. UDDER WASHING AND
CLUSTER DIPPING Dilute in the proportion of 1
part to 80 parts of water (2floz per gallon or
125ml per 10 Litres). To help prevent cross
infection, individual cloths or disposable paper
towels are strongly recommended. Dry teats
before milking. Immerse clusters and agitate for
at least half a minute. Rinse in clean water
before use. Agrimar RTU Teat Dip and Teat Spray
contains 0.5 w/v Available Iodine and 5 w/v
Glycerine and Sorbitol. 5,000 ppm Available
Iodine when used undiluted as a Teat Dip of Teat
Spray. 62.5 ppm Available Iodine when diluted
180 as udder wash or cluster dip. Meat and Milk
withholding periods - Nil. SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS For external use only. For animal
treatment only. When used as a spray, avoid
working in spray mist. Wash and dry udder and
teats before milking. Avoid contact with eyes.
In case of contact with eyes, give prolonged
irrigation with water and seek medical advice. In
case of ingestion, seek medical attention
immediately. Hands should be washed after using
the product. Harmful to fish - do not contaminate
ponds, waterways or ditches with the product or
empty container. Store below 25ºC. Store in
tightly closed original container. Protect from
frost. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away
from animal feed. If signs of disease persist or
appear, consult your veterinary surgeon or
veterinary practitioner.

The Agrimar formulation is based on Chlorhexidine
Gluconate and Benzalkonium chloride which work
together to help reduce the bacterial
contamination that causes mastitis in dairy
herds. When used routinely as a teat dip or
spray, Agrimar Chlorhexidine Teat Dip and Teat
Spray will prove a valuable aid in helping
control Bovine Mastitis. Agrimar Chlorhexidine
contains 5 Glycerine and Sorbitol to help
prevent and heal cracked and chapped teats and to
keep them soft and supple. Agrimar Chlorhexidine
is ready to use and so is especially suitable for
situations where measurement and mixing are
likely to prove inconvenient. No dilution
required. DIRECTIONS FOR USE TEAT DIPPING Fill
teat cup about two thirds full with Agrimar
Chlorhexidine. Dip teats of every cow
immediately after each has been milked, making
sure that the full length of the teat is
immersed. Top up with fresh solution as
required. Empty and wash out cups after
milking. TEAT SPRAYING Immediately after
milking, spray the entire surface of each teat of
every cow with Agrimar Chlorhexidine. UDDER
WASHING AND CLUSTER DIPPING Dilute in the
proportion of 150ml to 10 Litres of water. To
help prevent cross infection, individual cloths
or disposable paper towels are strongly

clusters and agitate for at last half a minute.
Rinse in clean water before use. Wash and dry
udders and teats before milking. SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS Contains 4,250ppm Chlohexidine
Gluconate, 100ppm Benzalkonium Chloride and 5
w/v Glycerine and Sorbitol. Milk and Meat
withholding periods - Nil. For external use
only. Avoid contact with eyes. If splashed in
the eye, rinse with clean running water
immediately. In case of ingestion, seek medical
attention immediately. When used as a spray,
avoid working in a spray mist. Wash hands after
use. Keep out of reach of children. Keep away
from animal feed. Store tightly closed in a cool
dark place below 25ºC. Harmful to fish - do not
contaminate ponds, waterways or ditches with the
product or empty container. If contents freeze,
they must be thawed and thoroughly mixed before
use. If signs of disease persist or appear,
consult your veterinary surgeon or veterinary
practitioner.

CLUSTER DIP To help prevent cross infection,
individual cloths or disposable paper towels are
strongly recommended. Dry teats before milking.
Immerse clusters and agitate for at least half a
minute. Rinse in clean water before use. Wash
and dry udders and teats before milking. SAFETY
PRECAUTIONS Contains 2 w/v Available Iodine and
20 w/v Glycerine and Sorbitol. 5,000ppm
Available Iodine when diluted 13 as a teat dip

MILK TANKS BY RECIRCULATION Immediately after
the tank has been emptied, rinse thoroughly with
clean cold water. Make up a solution of Agrimar
Liquid Sanitizer at a concentration of 200ml to
40 Litres (8 floz to 10 gallons) of water at 70ºC
and circulate the solution for 15-20 minutes and
then run to waste. Rinse with clean fresh water
and allow to drain thoroughly. IN PLACE
SANITIZATION OF MILKING MACHINES Immediately
after milking, clean off the outside of the
equipment, e.g. cluster. Thoroughly rinse and
plant with clean, cold water to remove residual
milk, allowing to run to waste. Make up a
solution of Agrimar Liquid Sanitizer at a

For each 40 Litres of hot (77ºC-82ºC /
170ºF-180ºF) water, add 150g of Agrimar Pipeline
Sanitizing Powder (or 6oz to 10 gallons) and
mix. Draw this solution into plant, allowing some
solution to run to waste, until the solution is
discharging hot (at least 50ºC) from the return
line. Then set the return line for circulation
and continue circulating for 10 minutes. Run the
solution to waste. Rinse the plant thoroughly
with clean water and allow to drain. SANITIZING
TEAT CUPS After each milking, thoroughly brush
and wash off external soiling. Pay particular
attention to the clusters and use jetters on the
cups. RTS PIPELING PLANTS Place clusters on
automatic cup washer, or alternatively (on plants
with no more than 4 units) place in a wash
trough, and by connecting to a manifold, draw hot

Agrimar Peroxygen Disinfectant may be used at
dilution rates of between 1100 and 1200 in hot
or cold water, according to specific pathogens

soiling encountered at the point of use. Further

available on request. Animal Housing / Poultry
House Disinfection Remove all animals, portable
equipment and turn off all electrical circuits
other than room lights. Remove gross soiling
using a shovel, brush and scraper. Apply
Agrimar Power Wash Liquid solution through a
pressure washer of knapsack sprayer and soak the
entire room to be cleaned. Leave to soak for 30
minutes. Continue to pressure wash until all
surfaces are clean. Leave to dry for a minimum
of 24 hours. Disinfect all cleaned surfaces by
spraying with the Agrimar Peroxygen Disinfectant
solution. Allow to dry overnight and replace
clean and disinfected equipment before
re-stocking. Drinking Water Systems Drain the
system and flush with clean water. Flush with

Flush through with clean water until all traces

Containers Remove equipment from room and,
using a stiff brush, remove as much dust and
organic matter as possible. Immerse in water

minutes. Remove and rinse off using a pressure
washer if necessary. Immerse in a water bath
filled with a solution of Agrimar Peroxygen
Disinfectant at a dilution of 1200 with water

Agrimar Paraformaldehyde Prills for Fumigation
Agrimar Paraformaldeyde Prills is a white
granular material containing 91 Paraformaldehyde
and is a source of Formaldehyde Gas. It is
particularly suited to fumigation of poultry
houses because it vaporises very easily. Agrimar
Paraformaldehyde Prills is recommended for the
fumigation of livestock houses, incubators, egg
rooms, hatcheries and lorries, etc. Formaldehyde
Gas is an extremely safe method of killing living
disease-causing agents in livestock houses. It
is non-corrosive when used as directed and does
not therefore cause corrosion or damage to the
fabric or fittings of the buildings or
vehicles. It will kill bacteria, viruses and
insects when used as directed. DIRECTIONS FOR
USE Fumigation with Agrimar Paraformaldehyde is
best carried out immediately after washing the
building or vehicle as it is most effective in
humid conditions and at temperatures above 15ºC.
All windows, doors and ventilators should be
closed throughout fumigation. Agrimar
Paraformaldehyde Prills should be used in
Formaldehyde Generators. In large units, site
the generators not more than 30 meters apart.
The generator should be set to operate at a
temperature of 210ºC, at which temperature the
Agrimar Paraformaldehyde Prills will vaporise to
Formaldehyde Gas. Any obvious gaps in the
building can be sealed off with masking tape. The
building may be conveniently left over night and
then opened up to the atmosphere the next morning
to disperse the formaldehyde fumes. Any
lingering fumes can be dispelled by sprinkling a
little 5 ammonia solution if necessary. Rates of
Use 1 kg Agrimar Paraformaldehyde Prills for
every 300m3 of air space to be fumigated. SAFETY
