• Mark Basel and Jane Xi will document updated
  equations in Chapter 14 of BSIM4 manual and
  distribute to all team members before the
  December CMC meeting. Done. Now we must remove
  extraction documentation from BSIM4 manual and
  put into a separate document on the CMC web site.
  This should be labeled rev. 1. The BSIM4 manual
  should reference this document.
• Need accuracy knob (1) no WPE (2) Edges only (3)
  Edges corners. ???
• SCref should be fixed at 2um. ???
• SCmax (max lookout distance) is process
  dependent. Yes. Name changed to Smax.
• We determined equations for gates with right
  angles still need exact equations for 45 degree
  gates. ???
• Multi-fingers extract each finger separately,
  but have switch to determine whether results are
  output for one multi-finger device or for each
  finger separately. ???
• Mark Basel will investigate interaction of STI
  and WPE extractions for multi-finger devices. ???
• Joe Watts will refine equation to include effect
  of perpendicular edges. Done. Joe presented two
  formulations simple and less simple. Mark Basel
  will evaluate and decide whether this could be
  rev. 2.
