WHAT DOES CALL MEAN TO ME?
  • After reading articles and taking EFL 537 I have
learned how important it is to teach technology
and computer literacy to our students.
  • Students need technological skills as much as
they need language skills in todays
    technologically advanced society.
  • CALL makes learning hands on and fun.
  • Students are able to take an active role in their
learning instead of a passive role.

7
WHAT CALL MEANS TO ME CONTINUED
  • CALL also allows students to interact with one
other on a collaborative level and help one
    another in the learning process.
  • Students are also able to talk to other students
from around the world via email, chat rooms and
    discussion groups.
  • Students are also able to learn at their own
pace, and learning can be tailored to meet the
individual needs of all students in the class.
