  • Open EGP to a current class
  • Go to Chart gt Summaries

  • Select the Students Tab
  • Select the Scores Tab

  • Select a Class and a Student by clicking on the
    small arrow to the right of the class and student
    windows

  • Go to Students gt Scores ()
  • View students current grades
  • Decide if you want to include comments or notes

A comment (comment bubble) is a more general
statement that can often be applied to more than
one student. A note (pencil tab)is a statement
that applies only to one specified student.

  • Adding Student Comments
  • In Summaries Window under Student select a class
    and a student
  • Choose gt comment
  • bubble to view
  • Comments
  • Take a few
  • minutes to edit
  • the comments to
  • your liking

  • Click on the blue downward arrow next to the
    and select edit comments

  • Take a few minutes to edit the comments to your
    liking
  • Then click done

  • To relocate a frequently used comment to the top
    of the list
  • Click on the number of the comment and drag to
    the desired place on the list

  • To include an individual students name
    (Gertrude) instead of student
  • Carefully select (highlight) student and
    replace it with shift
  • To delete a comment
  • Highlight the comment and click delete
  • To add a comment
  • Click in an emply comment box and type in the
    comment you desire
  • When you have finished editing comments click
    done

  • In Summariesgt Studentgt Comments window
  • Select a class and a student
  • Click on one or several comments for each
    student. It will appear in the top window
  • To deselect a comment, click on that comments
    number in the top window

  • select the note tab (little pencil)
  • Write in a specific comment that will appear only
    on the selected students progress report
  • When you have finished, click Done

  • Scroll through the Report labels, making any
    changes you wish. Some you may want to change
    are
  • Term Average to Quarter Average
  • Overall Grade to Current Average
  • STUDENT PROGRESS REPORT to Knickerbocker 8
    Interim Report
  • When you have finished, click Done

  • Formatting Progress Reports
  • Go to Filegt Print

  • Select Single-class Progress.
  • Be sure your name is written as you would like it
    to appear on your progress reports.
  • Click Next.

  • Choose who you want to print the Progress Report
    for
  • All current-class students
  • All current-term students
  • Selected students only

  • Choose how you want your grades to be displayed
  • Show as Percents only
  • Show as Grades only
  • Show as Percents Grades

    side of the screen.

  • If you would like to include an Introduction that
    will appear on each students Progress Report
  • Check the box in front of Intro/Postscript Text
  • Then, click on set
  • Write your Intro Text
  • Example This is a report of s progress for
    the first 5 weeks of the second marking period

  • In the same way, you may edit the Postscript Text
  • Click on the Postscript tab and write in your
    Postscript
  • If you have any questions regarding this report,
    please contact your childs teacher at
    teacherms_at_bcsd.neric.org
  • Remember By typing shift an individual
    students name will appear in the Intro or
    Postcript text

Summary GraphView your choices in the Preview

-Preview your final format by clicking
Preview-Return to the Progress Report selection
screen to make any adjustments-To print your
Progress Report, click Print
