PRECIOUS THINGS
  • I. The Word Of God is Precious (1Sam.31)

II. Faith is said to be Precious (1Pet.17
2Pet.11)
III. Gods promises are Precious (2Pet.13-4)
According as his divine power hath given unto us
all things that pertain unto life and godliness,
through the knowledge of him that hath called us
to glory and virtue Whereby are given unto us
exceeding great and precious promises that by
these ye might be partakers of the divine nature,
having escaped the corruption that is in the
world through lust.
That the trial of your faith, being much more
precious than of gold that perisheth, though it
be tried with fire, might be found unto praise
and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus
Christ
Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus
Christ, to them that have obtained like precious
faith with us through the righteousness of God
and our Saviour Jesus Christ
And the child Samuel ministered unto the LORD
before Eli. And the word of the LORD was precious
in those days there was no open vision.

Ps.119105
Thy word is a lamp unto my
feet, and a light unto my path.

PRECIOUS THINGS
  • I. The Word Of God is Precious (1Sam.31)

1Pet.24-7 To whom coming, as unto a living
stone, disallowed indeed of men, but chosen of
God, and precious, Ye also, as lively stones,
are built up a spiritual house, an holy
priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices,
acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore
also it is contained in the scripture, Behold, I
lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect,
precious and he that believeth on him shall not
be confounded. Unto you therefore which believe
he is precious but unto them which be
disobedient, the stone which the builders
disallowed, the same is made the head of the
corner,

1Pet.24-7

Is.2816 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD,
Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a
tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure
foundation he that believeth shall not make
haste.

blemish and without spot

Heb.922 And almost all things are by the law

Precious (Ps.491-9)

Ps.491-9
Hear this, all ye people give ear, all ye
inhabitants of the world Both low and high,
rich and poor, together. My mouth shall speak of
wisdom and the meditation of my heart shall be
of understanding. I will incline mine ear to a
parable I will open my dark saying upon the
harp. Wherefore should I fear in the days of
evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass
me about? They that trust in their wealth, and
boast themselves in the multitude of their
riches None of them can by any means redeem his
brother, nor give to God a ransom for him (For
the redemption of their soul is precious, and it
ceaseth for ever) That he should still live for
ever, and not see corruption.
9
Mt.1626
For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the
whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall
a man give in exchange for his soul?
What sin can you think of that is worth your soul?
