Why Algebra I?
  • Algebra I is a gatekeeper course for College
    Preparatory/Work Ready Curriculum and Core
    Curriculum.
  • Achieving Classroom Excellence Act (ACE) requires
    students to demonstrate mastery in Algebra I in
    order to receive a diploma.

  • Summer Bridge Programs between 8th and 9th grade
  • 9th grade companion classes to Algebra I
  • Note Based on assumption that Algebra I is
